Connection Down

Have roofers out putting on a new roof, and for that the antenna for my wireless internet connection will be down. So for next few days, wont have a net connection. This will slow down SR3's release – for more info goto SR3 Forums

Also, got the powersupply for making a new computer to control the plotter, hope to have that machine up today.

Open Source

Last night JasonB sent me the latest copy of the SR3 source to get things rolling on a new release and also to switch things to Open Source. Trying to get it compiled but having issues with SDL. Hope to get it fixed. Also signed up for a sourceforge account.

Side note, the new network card runs great!

IP problems

Ok, for some reason, after a couple days of not having IP issues, damn router, not at the scheduled time for IP renewal, gave a new IP for funkyshit. To try combat this I tried switching to the netcard I installed last time FS was down, but for some reason DHCP isnt working on that one. Never the less, the card works, and has a static IP (I hope). so if all goes well, no more problems.

Also, got a package from ebay today. was supposed to be a wireless PCI card, but the guy kinda screwed me and sent a PCMCIA to PCI adapter card for a specific wifi card. Totally misrepresented the auction.

Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I am angry.

Last few months been working on a new page for my car club in ASP because they dropped support for PHP and such, and now when I am about to switch from the old to the new, I find out in the server move they did this week that they've dropped ASP and Perl support to boot. This means what I made and also parts of the old page no longer will work.

Atleast the IP problem is fixed again on Funkyshit

Houston I think we may have a problem

Something with the connection is wierd. The airbridge keeps needing cycled, and the router is not wanting to renew IP's again for FS (think its fixed though, I hope). So if this is making things hard for you to access, I'm sorry.

Also, one wierd thing I saw the other day, was a family at the A&W. They had 8 kids, and she was pregnant with another, there were so many they couldnt ride together in one car. As a topper, the guy was wearing a shirt that said "God made a womb, not a tomb". I'm sorry, but thats just too many.
