First up at bat today, Linux.com had an article about a new open source project, the Linux Guitar. The basic concept is that the guitar will be able to record what is being played, add its own effects, etc. Also, all that goes into the guitar, even the shape and layout will be freely available. Pretty sweet.
Next up, according to Destructoid, Nintendo still hasn't released the specs for online play with the wii. This most likely means that Nintendo hasn't finished the spec, which really sucks.
Weight: 259.0lbs
Waist: 42.0"
Wii Fitness Score: 28
Despite yesterday, playing for over an hour, and today playing for over an hour, I lost ground. I did do better with the wii fitness, like that means much.
Weight: 259.0lbs
Waist: 42.25"
Wii Fitness Score: 28.
Argh, due to net connection, I couldnt give the update for yesterday (the info was from monday).
Weight: 258.0lbs
Waist: 42"
Wii Fitness Score: 38 (I sucked it up)
As many of you know, I love my wii. Its great. And after hearing the results of the Wii exercise experiment, I decided that I may want to give it a shot as well. I'm not one for exercising for the sake of exercise, but if I lose weight doing something I like, I'm all for it.
Here's the deal. Playing Wii Sports for half hour minimum each day, with some of the more active sports (I love bowling, but you just dont work up as much of a sweat as say, tennis), and do regular fitness checks. Off the wii, I do nothing different. No changing diet, or anything. Just weigh myself regularly.
Starting out, 258lbs, 42" waist, and Wii Fitness score of 26. Lets see how this goes.
Yay, Axel tore the shit out of my hand, my mouse is on the fritz, and things still are fucked with the bank. Fun fun.
Bank is trying to tack on a third overdraft charge, for reasons unknown (I've not used it since last week, so there hasn't been any additional charges), bringing the total up to $78 they want for their screw up.
On the mouse, it seems to be resetting what ever is on the hub that it is on, so apparently the PS/2 adapter it was on before, and now my USB hub with the scanner and such. Yay… more money I gotta spend…
