Apparently, Cisco has not released source for the iPhone that was based off GPL code. The Cisco iPhone is linux based. A bit of a double standard to go after Apple for trademark infringement, yet doing copyright infringement of its own.
And, yay, that was my first digg article to make the front page.
Argh.
Finally got things moved over to the new host. Thats been a bitch in itself. DNS was slow to propigate. My net connection was being problematic when uploading files. And then I was randomly selected for "fraud check" when purchasing the hosting plan, so that screwed things up with my bank, temporarily freezing it, and hitting me with overdraft charges just as if I had no money in the account (which isn't true, and I had just put money in there). Called the bank, and they won't do anything till things are finalized. Which means, gotta call back and bitch out the foreigners next week.
However, in the good things catergory, I like my new host, Dreamhost. Got shit tons of storage and other goodies, and was not much more than I was already paying. If anyone feels like switching to dreamhost, use the promo code "moolah" to save some serious dough.
Hopefully things are better there than here. Piggies have mange, but helped put the humane society on the trail of the breeder. Suburban dropped its transmission. Crown Vic was rear ended last night when we were coming back from the vet's with the pigs. Had a hell of a time with Eric's computer due to XP being an insecure, buggy piece of shit (2 installs in 24 hours!). Had someone want a rush order, and only have 24 hour from time of finding out to produce it.
Also, host here has been really crappy lately. 6 seconds to generate a small basic page, and getting emails sometimes 3-4 days after they're being sent. Not to mention emails I'm sending aren't always getting received. Thinking about switching to someplace else. Getting time to renew anyway (which in 12 days it will be 1 year since I signed up here and have yet to receive a renewal notice).
Another note, is this is the 200th post here. In just under 2 years too.
Yeah, I know I've not written anything lately. Been fucking crazy with Christmas and all. Been working on this website for a guy, and damn near finished, with a deadline of sometime today. Of course the last thing needed is a minor cosmetic thing, but causing the most trouble. Also got some new animals around. Two baby piggies, and 3 llamas. Pig pics are in the gallery, and llama ones are on the way. At the moment I just feel like I'm going to drop though.
